Everything ships in one standard box (23 × 23 × 19 cm, 1 kg) from Cloetesville, Stellenbosch — so you pay The Courier Guy's entry door-to-door rates, not freight prices. Indicative 2026 ranges (VAT incl.):
| Destination | Economy | Overnight |
|---|---|---|
| Western Cape main centres | R95–R130 | R130–R160 |
| Other main centres | R100–R145 | R125–R185 |
| Regional towns | R120–R180 | R160–R240 |
| Outlying / rural | R160–R260 | R220–R340 |
Estimates only. Farms, townships, mines and special-trip areas can attract courier surcharges, and fuel surcharges change — that is why the exact price is always confirmed on WhatsApp before payment.
Why Monday–Wednesday dispatch?
Because your parcel contains living animals. A culture dispatched on Thursday can spend Saturday and Sunday in a hot depot. Dispatching Monday to Wednesday keeps it moving and arriving alive — the same rule other serious South African culture suppliers use.
Minimum order & making courier worth it
We work on a R200 minimum order (cultures only, before courier). Courier costs more than a single R50 culture, so most customers combine cultures in one parcel — the Fry Starter Kit exists for exactly this reason. Combine everything you need in one parcel and the delivery fee stays the same.
